We contacted Joyce Clarke after they were recommended by a family member who had gone through a difficult personal time. Libby and John from Joyce Clarke had gone above and beyond helping them navigate their (complex) sale and it was from this, we knew our own house sale would be in experienced hands. When things don't go to plan (as is common with selling), you want to know it's going to be handled well.
This was our first time selling a house and we didn't know much about the process. From the valuation with Libby to the sale completion with John, at every single stage, we were given all the information we needed and kept informed along the way.
John, who handled the sale process is one of the most honest and professional people we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. John was like the glue that held the whole chain together and went above and beyond to ensure everything was aligned for completion day.
If anyone is reading this and is not familiar with the selling process, we learned that selling a house, getting to the 'sale agreed' stage is the easy part. You could probably do that yourself by showing people around your property and them saying 'yes I would like to buy this house'. It's getting your property to 'sale completed' which takes skill, knowledge, professionalism, and most importantly - good communication at every stage. We never had to wonder what was happening, John was always 10 steps ahead and was so responsive - always calling us back immediately if we had questions. Even though he was busy, he would always give us the time to have a chat.
Moving house is one the most stressful things you can do in life but when you have the right agent, it will be a million times less stressful. I guarantee anyone reading this, to sell/buy through Joyce Clarke, we can't recommend them enough.
